Early Pregnancy Signs

I remember when I was trying to conceive. I wasn’t really sure what the pregnancy signs were so I decided to write this article to take the guess work out of it for you. Remember that some pregnancy signs mimic symptoms of PMS (pre-menstrual symptoms). So you need to confirm with a pregnancy test. But if you continually get a negative result you might want to fall back on these syptoms. These are some early signs of pregnancy.

Nausea (called morning sickness) but can occur any time of day or not. Sometimes you can’t eat certain food without it bothering your tummy. In fact, with one of my pregnancy’s I could not eat chicken. Every time I even smelled it cooking I vomited. This brings me to my next symptom.

A Higher than usual sense of smell can plague you throughout your pregnancy. As I explained earlier, I couldn’t stand the smell of chicken cooking.  I also could not stand to wear perfume. I searched high and low for a fragrance that wouldn’t bother me. I finally found one that Avon had that was sweet and not strong. I think it was really for kids but it worked.

Swollen or tender breast or nipples- If your breast or nipples are tender to the touch this can be an early pregnancy sign. Also, if they are feeling full, tingly, or sore it could be pregnancy.
Areolas can darken or change color with early pregnancy. There might be an increase in diameter of the areolas as well.

Always exhausted is definitely the first clue I always got. I would lay down because I was tired and not wake up until 4pm. I didn’t get a whole lot accomplished. I was tired most of the time. I get worn out with my menstrual but this was different.

Urinating frequently was always a great clue for me. I usually only go to the restroom a couple of times a day. When I was pregnant, I would triple my restroom runs.

These next signs definitely come with pregnancy and menstrual so it’s hard to tell. Bloating and spotting. I Bloat a lot with my menstrual but the more children I had (8 in all) my belly popped out sooner and sooner. And what made it even more confusing is I would spot sometimes early in pregnancy. So of course I thought it was PMS.
